I hope you’re having a wonderful summer.  Attached are two summaries from the books Stig and I just finished reading.  The first book was written by billionaire Howard Schultz, the founder of Starbucks.  In general, the book was good, but not excellent.  The second book, Superforecasting, was recommended to us by legendary investor Ed Thorp.  This was a fantastic read and highly recommended.  The book profiles individuals that have the talent for being highly successful at predicting future events.  Whether the results can be replicated or not, the information was very useful and interesting to learn about.
